Pick-up Now and Scheduled Pick-up Settings

Learn more about same day and scheduled pick-up options for your online store.

You may choose to enable customer pick-up for a variety of reasons. Some brands offer customer pick-up to save on delivery costs, while some simply want to give a variety of options for their customers to choose from. Whichever case it may be, enabling customer pick-up and setting the dynamics for immediate and scheduled order pick-up is easy with the Order Fulfillment module.

Pickup Now

The Pickup Now option allows your customers to collect your products from your store as soon as the order is ready for pickup.

From your Order Fulfillment module, you can choose to enable or disable the Pickup Now option for specific brands or branches. To update the settings of your Pickup Now option:

  1. Go to the Pickup tab > Pickup Settings.
  2. Toggle the Pickup Now option.
  3. If you wish to use the same settings as your Pickup Now option, check Same as  delivery setup
  4. Otherwise, choose the Brand and Branch for which the Pickup Now option will be activated from the dropdown list.
    1. Mark the brand and/or branch you want to enable using the checkbox
    2. Multiple selections are allowed
    3. You can click ‘Clear Selected’ to remove all brands and branches you marked
  5. Click “Apply” once done with your selection.
Only the brands and branches that you have already onboarded will be shown in the dropdown menu. To learn more about adding, editing, or deleting your brands and branches, read here
Pre-order Schedule (Scheduled Pick-up)

Contrary to the Pickup Now option, the Scheduled Delivery gives you more time to prepare your orders way ahead of time- from hours to months before your customer's preferred pickup schedule. With this feature, you can set a lead time for preparing a customer's orders, set a period to display for customers to choose from, set an order capacity for each day, and configure the pickup schedule for each day pre-orders are processed.

To configure your pre-order schedule from your Order Fulfillment module and start accepting advanced orders:

  1. Go to the Pickup tab > Pre-order Schedule Settings
  2. Toggle the Scheduled option to enable scheduled pickup
  3. If you wish to use the same settings as your Pickup Now option, check Same as  delivery setup. Otherwise, proceed with the next steps.
  4. Set the minimum lead time for the delivery of your orders
    1. Click the dropdown below “Minimum” to select among days, hours, or weeks.
  5. Set the advanced order duration
    1. From the dropdown menu, choose the number that corresponds to the duration you want to set. This shows how far ahead of the desired delivery schedule your customer is allowed to book.
  6. From the dropdown menu, choose the Brand and Branch for which the Pre-order Schedule Settings will apply.
    1. Mark the brand and/or branch you want to enable using the checkbox
    2. Multiple selections are allowed
    3. You can click ‘Clear Selected’ to remove all brands and branches you marked
  7. Click Save Changes.
