How can your customers use Privilege Cards?
This article walks you through what your customers experience when purchasing, viewing, and using your Privilege Card in the Customer App. Understanding this flow can help you better assist your customers and set expectations on how rewards, vouchers, and card management work.
Purchasing a Privilege Card
Here’s how customers can purchase your Privilege Card from the app:
- Log in to the Customer App.
- Navigate to the Privilege Card tab — located between the Home and News tabs.
- Tap “Purchase Card” or the “+” icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
- The customer will then select the card type to purchase:
- Digital Card or
- Physical Card
(Note: Only the card types you uploaded in the RUSH CMS will appear. For example, if you only uploaded a digital card, customers will only see the digital option.)
- Tap “Purchase this card” — this automatically adds the selected card to the customer’s cart.
- If the customer wants to view more details first, they can tap the “>” icon beside the card.
- This shows the Privilege Card details, including the rewards or/and vouchers bundled with the card.
- Once ready, they can tap “Add to Cart” → select card type → Purchase Card.
- This shows the Privilege Card details, including the rewards or/and vouchers bundled with the card.
- Customers can proceed to the Cart (icon at the bottom-left of the screen),
select their payment method, and complete the purchase.

Viewing and Using the Privilege Card
Once the purchase is complete, customers can view their Privilege Card details in the same Privilege Card tab.
They’ll be able to see:
- Card name and type (Digital or Physical)
- Rewards (if any)
- Vouchers (if any)
- Card Expiry
- Card Design

Rewards
- Rewards attached to the card upon purchase are automatically displayed.
- Once redeemed, a reward will automatically be removed from the list.
Vouchers
- Vouchers show with their current status:
- Available – ready to use
- Used – already redeemed
- Available – ready to use
Card Expiry
Each Privilege Card may have an expiry date set by the merchant.
After the expiry date, the customer can no longer redeem rewards or vouchers associated with the card.
Making a Card Primary
If a customer has multiple Privilege Cards, they can set one as their Primary Card. This determines which card’s benefits are prioritized when redeeming rewards or vouchers.
Steps to set a card as Primary:
- Go to the Privilege Card tab in the Customer App.
- Select the card the customer wants to set as Primary.
- Enable the “Make this Primary Card” toggle.
