Some merchant front-liners who are using the RUSH Merchant mobile app for Android devices encountered issues during log in. This is due to a misconfiguration on the Android version of the app that used a source code similar to the previous (and now-decommissioned) tablet version of the Merchant App. This misconfiguration caused the app to return an internal server error (also known as 500 error), therefore blocking the frontliner from logging in and accessing the app.
To resolve this issue, RUSH has implemented a code cleanup and released an updated version of the RUSH Merchant mobile app for Android on Google Play (version 1.3.4).
To prevent similar issues from happening in the future, RUSH commits to ensure that every code logic is based on the business requirement of each app/software being developed.
