Setting up your Loyalty Points

One of the perks of having a Loyalty Program with RUSH is that you can gamify and set up the points system for your customers, depending on your preference.

For every amount your customer pays, there will be corresponding points that they can transfer to other customers, pay using their points, or convert to rewards and vouchers. 


In this article, you can set up:

  • Earning
  • Pay with Points
  • Points Expiry
  • Transfer Points
  • Require OR Image

Setting up your point system


  1. Earning
  • You can nominate the minimum transaction value and equivalent points that customers can earn. 

Example: For every P100 purchase, the customer will earn 1 point ( P100  = 1 Point)

2.   Pay with Points
  • You can nominate the minimum points required and the equivalent monetary value that customers can use as payment. 

Example: For every point earned, equivalent is P1 (1 Point = P1); A customer can pay 100 points for a P100 purchase.



3.  Points Expiry
    • You can toggle it on and off depending on your preferences. Keep in mind that the expiry date applies on the points accumulated on one transaction. 

4.  Transfer Points
    • Updating this will depend if you allow your customers to transfer the points to another customer’s account via customer app. 

 

5.  Require OR Image
    • In the merchant app, the frontliner has the option to give out points. By toggling this on, this will require the frontliner to upload OR image as points verification.





Awarding Rewards Points to Customers

Customers earn points for every purchase as soon as you or your front liners input their transaction details into the RUSH Merchant app.

No matter how your customers choose to earn points (e.g. in-store or through self-seeding), points can only be credited to their wallets once they are issued or approved by you or your front liners using the app.

To issue points to your customers:

  1. Open the Merchant Mobile App and hit Customer Info
  2. Input the Customer’s mobile number
  3. Tap Give Points
  4. Input the transaction amount. The points to be issued will be calculated automatically based on the points conversion rate you set on your CMS. 
  5. Enter the OR number of the transaction

Please note that the OR number should be unique for every branch/brand. 

6.  Click Proceed


7.  The Customer will now receive the points issued for the transaction
