Updating Existing Punch Card Campaigns

 If you need to make changes to an existing campaign, you can do so using the Edit function.


✏️ How to Edit a Punch Card Campaign

To update an existing campaign:

  1. Go to the Punch Card Logs section in the CMS.

  2. Locate the campaign you wish to edit.

  3. Click the Pencil Icon (✏️) beside the campaign name.

This will redirect you to the Edit Campaign screen, where you can view and update the campaign's editable details.

What Can Be Edited?

The fields you can update depend on whether or not the campaign has active participants:

🔹 If No Participants Have Joined Yet

You may edit all campaign details, including:

  • Campaign name and description

  • Duration (start and end dates)

  • Number of punches required

  • Reward details

  • Rules and mechanics

🔹 If Participants Have Already Joined

Once a customer has joined a campaign, only generic fields can be edited—stamp settings cannot be changed in order to preserve campaign integrity.

 

Best Practices

  1. Always double-check all campaign settings before launching to minimize the need for post-launch edits.

  2. Use clear, descriptive campaign names to avoid confusion.

  3. When disabling a campaign, inform affected users through push notifications or in-app announcements for transparency.

 

Making thoughtful updates ensures your punch card campaigns remain effective, accurate, and user-friendly—supporting a better customer experience while giving you full control.
